OXISTAT® Cream and Lotion are contraindicated in individuals who have shown hypersensitivity to any of their components. OXISTAT® (oxiconazole nitrate cream) Cream, 1% and OXISTAT® (oxiconazole nitrate lotion) Lotion, 1% are not for ophthalmic or intravaginal use. If signs of epidermal irritation should occur, the drug should be discontinued. The most common adverse events with OXISTAT® were pruritus and burning, which occurred in less than 2% of patients.
